Spring talks

Hello,

Happy Thursday lovelies, before I start with this post I want to apologise for this post not going up yesterday, I had a spur of the moment pyjama party so I decided to not worry about typing this post and just enjoy myself. And that’s exactly what I did.

As you can see from the title, I am talking about Spring today, so I’ll cover things like what I love about spring to what I plan on doing this season. I have some very cute lamb photos to share with you too. So to begin with, I’m going to talk about why I love spring.

Why I love spring

Spring is one of the best times of the year because everything is so fresh and new lives are being created. The flower start to bloom, the sun almost shines, the birds fly around effortlessly singing their morning-glory songs. Everything just seems so steady and peaceful.

Spring to me is the “get shit done” season, so from your average spring cleaning to going out and enjoying thee world around you. It’s time to move, to be alive. In winter, we are all kind of just wondering around, not really sure what to do with ourselves, we’re not sure what the weather is going to do and we’re just in the gloom period when we really don’t have much to look forward to since Christmas is over.

In spring, there is so much going on, from lambing weekends to Easter egg hunts we really do get to enjoy a lot. My favourite spring event is the lambing weekends, I’m lucky enough to visit a farm weekly to see the lambs (they are so cute!) and watch them grow. Being nineteen, I am now over the age of being allowed to join an Easter egg hunts which is quite sad really, so I have to find my own entertainment.

Spring is where my best photography happens, I don’t know why because I don’t do anything different. I love going for long walks through the fields to see the wild rabbits run around, capture the birds flying about the ponds or houses and hearing the little lambs call out that they are hungry. I don’t have many daffodils growing around where I live, but I have plenty of wild daisies and some sunflowers already popping through. My rose bush is starting to bud too! It was still in full bloom Christmas day!

I think my favourite type of photography is nature, I love how you can take a photograph of something one day and when you go back a few days later, it looks completely different. That’s sort of how spring works too, everything is changing and growing and surviving and it’s just beautiful!

I could speak about spring all day but I know that it would bore most of you, so instead, here is my plans for this season.

My Spring “Bucket list”

Spring technically started on Tuesday but I was busy at work so I missed the main day and yesterday I spent the day watching films so I have wasted two days but I have until the 21st of June to complete these tasks.

  1. You are never too old for an Easter Egg hunt!!! I was going to ask what tattoo you are hoping to get but reading the comment above, I really like the sound of the butterflies but they both sound nice so I’m sure you will love whatever you decide to get. Do you know how you are going to decorate your room yet? xx

    1. Haha I wish that was true (my mum doesn’t agree) and thank you, I’m really heading towards the butterfly idea. I literally have no idea, all I know is I want my room painted grey with glitter in it. I’d love any suggestions xx

      1. I remember having an Easter egg hunt when I was younger and I was in charge of hiding the eggs. We found all but one which was later found a year later behind a tree haha (my brother still ate the chocolate!). You should have your own Easter Egg hunt with your friends!!! Oooh like a silver colour or grey with glitter borders? xx

      2. Haha, he wasn’t going to pass up chocolate πŸ˜‚ that’s such a good idea, I might have to do that. I’m still deciding between glitter borders or glitter mixed in with the grey paint so when the light hits it, it shimmers xx
