Mini milk bottle holder: review

Hello,

Happy Wednesday my loves and a very happy Valentines day to you all. Whether you are in a relationship or not, I am sending you all of my love and I hope you have had the best day ever!

Today, I am not bringing you anything romantic, not even close. I am bringing you a review, of something quite random actually.

A few years ago I went into a charity shop and picked up this mini milk bottle holder and some mini milk bottles with pretty lids and straws for my summer party. Everyone loved it, or they might have loved the strawberry milkshake more, but either way, it was a success. I knew that once I had finished using them, they wouldn’t be used again, which when you think about it it’s a waste. I decided to keep the bottles because they’ll be used all year round, and used for decoration, but I didn’t want to throw the holder away. Surely it can be used for something, right?

Right! I used my little brain and decided I would use it in my room. At the time, I had no idea what for, so it just sat on my side next to my bed. A few weeks ago, I was going through my skincare draw and came to a great idea, why not keep my skincare next to my bed. So, I gathered the products I use everday, and put them next to my bed. It took me a while to figure out that I could put my skincare into the holder.

The holder is just plain white, its sectioned off into six parts and it’s pretty simple looking.

I put fake rose petals around it to try and make it look a little bit valentine(y) but it so didn’t work.

I am actually quite proud that my tiny brain came up with the idea to fit my products inside of it, and have it sat beside my bed with my other products and mirror. Go you tiny brain! Here is what I keep inside.

Here is a glimpse of my products. I have them in a certain order too. In the back, I have my Balance me face wash which I will do a review on soon, my Superdrug body mist and my hair brush with my hair spray that I recieved in a Birchbox a few months ago.

Those are the ones I don’t use everyday, but use maybe 3/4 times a week. Now, before someone comments, I do brush my hair everyday, twice a day in fact, but I don’t use this hair brush everyday, I have a thicker one that is a lot better for my ever growing thick hair.

In the front I have my two simple products that I use everyday, day and night and my Johnston baby oil that I also use day and night to get rid of (fade) my stretch marks.

I like having them in this because it looks so much neater then having them just thrown in a draw, I can reach the product easily and put it back in a set place, without worrying about losing it. I also think it makes me look a lot more organised. I am revamping my style and going for more of a simple look, kind of minimalistic, and I think this adds to that vibe. Next to that I have some vitamin E cream, a pixl exfoliating toner and a bottle of Joh Frieda frizz ease anti frizz primer.

Also on my side I have a fan, a mirror, my Zoella travel cup and my book. I am currently reading Wilde like me by Louise Pentland just incase any of you wanted a new book to read.

That’s it my loves, I loved this as my milk bottle holder and I love it as my product holder, I actually reccomend to people to get one, or two actually. You don’t need to buy the bottles with it, I find this works so much better compared to those clear plastic holders you get.

Thank you for reading lovelies, I know I have kind of rambled on about nothing, but I didn’t know what else to tell you, once you say you love something, that’s it really.

I hope you have enjoyed my post, if you have, leave a like and comment below what you use to hold all of your skincare products. If you really enjoyed my post, why not share it with your social media.

That’s all from me tonight, I will be back TOMORROW with a new post.

Lots of love always,

A x
