Linziclip review

Hello,

Happy Saturday my lovelies. I just want to apologise for this post being a couple of hours late. I have had a few things going on today, but I’ll save them for a future post.

Today I am bringing you a review, I contacted Linziclip and asked if they work with bloggers and if they would allow me to review their products for a post. They allowed and sent me a few clips to try out. I would have tried them out sooner, but I have literally been spending all my time in bed asleep or in a pain killer haze, so I have been in no state to take pictures/ put up a quality review.

Today, I asked my wonderful mother to try out the clips I was sent.

We tried the large blue clip first, this is meant to be suitable for thick hair, but in our case, the clip just did not hold anything, out hair fell out of it and just was not stable. It looked great though!

The clip itself doesn’t open very wide, therefore you cannot add a lot of hair between the gap. I also think because the clip doesn’t open as wide it isn’t able to hold a lot, and with our hair being thick, there is a lot to hold.

As you can see in this picture, my mum is wearing a non Linziclip and this is holding her hair a lot better, it doesn’t feel loose and it her hair is not falling out.

I also tried to wear this clip, to hold my “bun” in place, I think my “bun” was held together more before I added the clip.

My mum also tried the little clips, she thought the same, they are just not great at holding anything.

As you can see, her hair is quite short, so its not as if there is a lot of hair there (no offence mum). I tried them on my dad, who doesn’t have the best hair (he’s old, it’s not his fault!) He said that they held what he had there, which isn’t a lot.

In our opinion, these clips, compared to the ones we usually use, are simply no good, a way they could be improved is to widen the clip, add some more width to the teeth and it could possibly hold a lot better, but obviously, I’m not a hairdresser, so I could be totally wrong.

I do reccomend these to people with thin hair though, because like my dad said, it hold what little is there, meaning there isn’t too much the clip has to hold.

Aside from the usage, the actual look of them is very pretty, I like colour pattern on the little clips, it’s similar to the sponge affect they use on nails. I also like the colour blue, so I can’t say I was dissappointed by the way they look.

I hope I haven’t put you off purchasing these clips, I just want to make it clear that this was just the opinion of my family and I, there are so many people out there who actually love the products. If you are interested in purchasing them, here is a link: http://www.linshell.com.

I hope you enjoyed this review, let me know in the comments below if you have ever tried these clips before, or leave me some reccomendations, I am changing my hair soon, so it’ll be good to test a few out!

Thank you so much for reading tonights post, again, I apologise for it being a few hours late! If you did enjoy this post, please leave a like and a comment, if you really enjoyed my post, share with your friends and family.

Thank you again, have a wonderful Sunday,

Love,

A x

  1. It’s a shame you didn’t like these; I’ve tried linziclip and I have very thin hair and it held very well, they have such cute designs. You could try the maxi clip, which is longer and for most hair types I think as that may hold your hair better 🙂 c
