The Christmas Tag

Hello,

Welcome back and a very happy Monday to you all. I hope you have had an amazing start to the week, if you haven’t, just remember that tomorrow is a brand new day, things will get better, you need to put all your negative energy away for that to happen though.

If you have had a bad day, I am hoping that this post will cheer you up, and if you have had a good day, I am hoping this will make it even better. Today I am bringing you the Christmas tag. I know, I know, I am a little early, but let’s all be honest, ever since Halloween was over we have been dying to get into out Christmas spirit. Who hasn’t already had the music channels blaring out while hovering because Slade was playing? See, you’re just as guilty as I am. As for you Bah-humbugs out there, it’s time for you to get that choir voice out, it wont be long until carol singing is acceptable too. Until the full festivities is in full swing, I hope you enjoy this tag.

The Christmas Tag

  • What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

I am in love with so many Christmas films, but here are my top 10 favourites.

  1. The Grinch
  2. Polar Express
  3. Elf
  4. The Nativity story
  5. Home Alone
  6. Disney’s A Christmas Carol
  7. Arthur Christmas
  8. The Santa Clause
  9. The Snowman
  10. Harry Potter

  • Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Christmas Morning, although technically we are opening them Christmas afternoon this year because my mum is at work.

  • Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

All of my favourite Christmas include my nan being drunk, but the best memory is the last Christmas we spent with my Granddad. We had non stop laughter and it was like a scene out of a movie, a true merry Christmas.

  • Favourite festive food?

Pigs in blankets hands down win. We only get two between us because there are seven of us in total, so when someone is too full to eat theirs, its like a race to get it. My family is great haha.

  • Favourite Christmas gift?

All my gifts are my favourite, I have never had a gift that I didn’t like, but the one present that I will hold onto until I die is a special gift my nan and Grandad gave me. It’s the last present I have from him, so I am keeping it extra close. It is a special silver key, you hang it on your door Christmas eve, and it holds magic inside to help Santa enter your house. I don’t believe in it anymore, but it’s still something sweet to hold onto.

  • Favourite Christmas scent?

It sounds weird, but just the cold air. You know when you wake up and it’s cold outside and you smell it and your just like “ah, it smells of Christmas”, that’s my favourite scent.

  • Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

We used too when we were younger, but because we are adults now, we don’t have any. I plan on having my own when I move out, but until then, Christmas Eve isn’t that much of a big deal.

  • What tops your tree?

An angel. We have had the angel for years and honestly I don’t think the tree would be complete if we got something else.

  • As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

I actually never asked for anything crazy, I was very set to what I liked and didn’t like and as a kid, I hated anything wild, it would send me into a meltdown.

  • What’s the best part about Christmas for you?

Spending time with the family without arguing. Just quality time with everyone together instead of people eating in separate rooms. We also love to reminisce and I love that.

Well lovelies, that’s the end of the tag questions. If you would like to answer these in your own post, I will leave the list below for you to copy and paste. I hope you enjoyed reading this, if you did don’t forget to like and leave me a comment of your favourite Christmas film.

Love,

A x
