10 gift ideas for Father’s day

10 gift ideas for Father’s day

Hello my loves,

A very happy Wednesday to you, I hope you are well. Today I have enjoyed another fabulous day with Jack and now I get to share a post that I have been very excited to share with you. Before I start this post I need to do a little disclaimer.

Disclaimer- This post includes a gifted product. The item gifted will be marked as gifted and a link to the product will be provided.

Now that is out the way, let’s carry on with the post.

Father’s day is coming up, it’s actually this Sunday (16th June 2019). I am actually away this year so I had to give my dad his gift early, but I know that a lot of my friends don’t have anything planned so I have put together a list of ten items that your father, step father or even granddad might enjoy. So, shall we jump into the list.

10 gift ideas for Father’s day

Personalised Loop Key ring – If your male figure is great at losing his keys, a key ring is the perfect gift. I brought my dad a key ring last year and personalised it with dads taxi. You could just say who it’s from or add a cute message that they can carry around with them.

A photobook – I love photo-books, I made one for my mum for her birthday using FreePrints photo books. I think these are absolutely amazing gifts because they last a lifetime. Don’t worry, this isn’t an Ad.

Photo frame – Similar to the photo book, why not pick your favourite photo together and put it into a photo frame. You could personalise it professionally or simply head to Poundland, pick up a frame and some craft items and get creative.

An experience trip – If I could I would love to buy my dad an experience trip to watch MotoGP or something similar, but unfortunately I cannot. If any of you are able to spend a little more though, I definitely recommend experience trips. It’s something that you can do together and another memory to cherish.

A video – I don’t know if it’s just me,but I love filming little clips of the most random things with people I love. The photos are a bonus too. There are so many apps these days that you can create films on, or add it to a DVD (if you’re that tech savvy, I’m really not!) and hey presto, an amazing unique gift.

Socks – Is it just me, or do boys/men always either lose their socks or put holes in them? I honestly have no idea what they do to them. What’s worse is when you put them away in a pair, they’ll wear them, put them in the wash and then we’ll end up with a pile of odd socks. You could be creative and buy odd socks for them, I know there’s a few brands that do this, just take a little search on google, or you can buy them more socks, some with funky patterns, sayings or just plain old black socks.

Alcohol gift set – My dad doesn’t drink and my Granddads are no longer with me, so I don’t have to worry about this one, but anywhere you go, you’ll always be able to buy some kind of alcohol set. Tesco do the best sets and for super cheap prices too! Just for reference.

Meal out – Something so simple but so special. Just spending quality time with them could in fact mean the world to them and is by far the best gift you could ever give someone. It doesn’t have to be that expensive either.

Toolbox – Are they super handy? If so, a toolbox is probably a great idea! If they already have tools, that’s okay, you can just get boxes so they can store it all in one place. If their tools are a little old and could do with being replaced, I would recommend asking what tools they have and make a decision from there as to what to buy them. A little tip though, they can never ever have too many screwdrivers, because they’ll always be lost or as they like to call it “misplaced”.

Personalised hammer Gifted – This is my favourite gift on the list. I was kindly gifted this and I was actually obsessed with it! If it wasn’t for the fact I had it engraved for my dad, I would have kept this for myself. It’s such a cool piece to have and my dad even said that it was different to any other hammer he has had before. You can buy this hammer at a great price of £19.99 from I just love it.

Well that’s all from me tonight guys, I hope you have enjoyed this post. If you decide to purchase any of these items, I highly recommend that you do so ASAP. It’s 4 days until Father’s Day so you might want to get your skates on.

Thank you so much for reading, if you enjoyed this be sure to leave a like and comment below. I will be back on Friday with another post.

Until then,

Sending you all my love,

A x

I needed this post! Have already got my dad two things but still doesn’t measure up to what I got my mum for mother’s day so feeling mighty guilty right now 😂 My dad doesn’t drink either and all you see these days in terms of recommendations for Father’s day is alcohol so love your suggestions. Great post lovely! 💖

My dad was super happy with his hammer bless him, they’re so easy to please. Thank you lovely! I know, alcohol seems to be one of the main ideas for every gift guide these days, I’m glad I could bring some inspiration to you ❤️ xx

Honestly this is such a nice post 😭 I really wanted to get my dad something nice for Father’s Day but I just never got the chance. But we are luckily having a little trip this weekend and so if he finds something he wants, my sister and I will get it for him. X

It’s not always about the gifts, just spending quality time with them is sometimes what they want the most. Have an amazing trip lovely xx
