Blogmas day seventeen: Local Christmas markets

Hello,
Happy Monday lovelies, how are you? I hope you have had a great day. So many of you have finished school already which is crazy! I know my family doesn’t finish until Friday!
I’ve had a lovely day out with one of my friends. Although places were a little more hectic than usual, we still found a Nandos and enjoyed a really good catch up. Traffic today has been horrendous, but I made it home in one piece.
Tonight I am sharing a few local markets you. I currently live in Kent (that’s the best I can give) so I have found some wonderful places in Kent. Here are two great ones for you.

Two amazing Kent Christmas markets

Whitefriars Canterbury Christmas Market – 16th November 24th December

  • Canterbury is a magical place at any time of year, but especially at Christmas!

    • This year’s Canterbury Christmas Market is the biggest ever, with dozens of colourful cabins spread throughout the shopping centre.
    • There’s also a fantastic selection of seasonal food and drink to enjoy while you shop.
    • And, if that’s not enough, there’s 60 great shops and restaurants in the award-winning Whitefriars shopping centre alone, and many more top high street names and independents in the wider city centre.
    • The Canterbury Christmas Market will open on 16 November after the official lights switch-on ceremony.
    • Their popular Santa’s Grotto will be open from 1 December until 24 December in Whitefriars Square. There is a £4 entry fee which includes a gift.

  • This year expect a festival. Like never before, 4 they are transforming one of their retailer unit into a unique Christmas cabin, which will play host to a whole range of festive fun.
  • The Christmas cabin will be opening its doors on Saturday 1st December, when Santa will be meeting and greeting all the good boys and girls of camp and weeds in the magical stories between 12 and 4 p.m.
  • Santa storytelling sessions will take place on Saturday 8th, 15th and 22nd December.
  • Each time Santa will be handing out lots of treats and goodies to the children.
