Blogmas day 2: Must buy advent calendar

Blogmas day 2: Must buy advent calendar

Welcome to day two of Blogmas, how are you? Tonight I thought I would share with you a little review of my GlossyBox advent calendar.

Every year, I see so many different advent calendars, from chocolate to beauty, to little food snacks to alcohol, there really is such a variety.

This year, my mum has brought me a chocolate advent calendar, which I am very happy about, being nineteen doesn’t mean I can not enjoy an advent. I also treated myself to a GlossyBox advent calendar. I’m not sure if they’re still available, if they are, it’s £99 for a non subscriber and £75 for a subscriber.

This advent has 25 gifts which includes 17 full sized products. I have already opened mine, every box actually so I already know what to expect. The calendar has products worth a total of over £300! While yes, this is definitely on the high end budget, I would like to share with you a few items that I absolutely love and why I am glad I brought it.

1. You get 25 gifts! – This is designed so beautifully. Each box has a different style and you definitely cannot tell what you’ll be getting.

2. Products I have never heard of – I am very excited to try so many of these products because I have either never heard of them or had the opportunity to try them.

3. Products that have been on my wishlist for a very long time – Opening a few of my boxes I came across products that I have wanted to try for a very long time. I have already started to use a few of them religiously! I am just as obsessed as I thought I would have been.

4. Treating yourself – Don’t get me wrong, I love a good piece of chocolate, but I always find that I want to eat the whole thing. It could just be because I am a pig and I love food, but I am loving the fact that there isn’t anything edible in the GlossyBox advent calendar. It’s mostly beauty related.

I know that £99 is a lot of money to spend on an advent calendar, but if you subscribe to their box (£12.99 a month) you can get the box cheaper at £75. I’m definitely impressed with the products inside, and I think you’ll enjoy them too.

I will be back tomorrow with one of my favourite Christmas memories. In the meantime, why not share your favourite advent calendars with me?

Sending you all my love and festive cheer!

A x
