My current workout routine

Happy Thursday beauts! I hope you’ve had an amazing day, I had work and then I had the best nap ever! So I definitely have had a great day.

I shared a workout routine with you before and I seemed to really inspire some of you guys to get up and get going, so I thought I’d share another with you.

This time, I’m going to share with you what I have been doing recently instead of workouts I think you should give a go, just simply because I find it easier to do something that I know someone else is doing. So here is my current workout routine.

Current workout routine

Monday

  • 40 minute walk
  • 10 squats
  • 10 jumping jacks

Tuesday

  • 20 squats
  • 10 jumping jacks
  • 5 minutes dancing while hoovering

Wednesday

  • 10,000 steps (doesn’t matter how you achieve this, you could do a couple of hundred by shopping!)
  • 10 squats
  • 10 jumping jacks

Thursday

  • Minimal work, kind of a chill day, reach about 5,000 steps

Friday

  • 40 minute walk
  • 10 squats
  • 10 jumping jacks
  • Dancing while doing housework

Saturday & Sunday

  • About 5,000 steps, these are my work days so I get a lot of exercise done by walking up and down stairs, in and out of residents rooms etc.

That at the moment is what I’m doing, so far so good, I’m really enjoying it and I’m feeling a lot better in my body compared to how I used to feel.

I have also changed my diet to help me lose weight and I am eating smaller portions but also eating more times in a day. I have definitely seen a difference so I’m going to continue with this for a while until I have the courage to make it harder for myself.

By all means, change this to suit your style, if you are more active that’s great and if you’re just getting started in this journey and feel this is a bit too much, you can always lower the amount.

As always, I am here to support you and share my tips, tricks and advice with you but please remember I am not a fitness specialist, sometimes I have no idea what I’m doing either.

My advice for tonight is, by yourself some workout clothes and some trainers (my trainers match my workout leggings but obviously yours doesn’t have to) to motivate you to get up and move, if you just wear your ordinary clothes, you mentally associate them with your everyday routine and it doesn’t make you want to go out and get fit.

      I’m glad! Be sure to let me know how you find it and as always, never over do it, if you need to take a day to rest, do so! Your overall health is always greater than loosing a few people x
