New treatments

New treatments

How are we all? I hope you are having a wonderful Monday. Today, I am feeling a lot more like myself, which means this weeks posts are going to rock!

To kick start of this week, I am bringing you some new treatments that I was sent very kindly by a wonderful, inspiring lady called Ellie.

So let me tell you about the first product: The green paste is our Marine Mud mask

It has 30+ minerals and is very natural but also powerful at drawing dirt and impurities from your pores.
It can be used on any problem with your skin – the list is endless but would include spots, blackheads, cold sores, ingrown hairs, bites – anything that you need to draw out impurities. You apply a thin layer to clean dry skin and leave until it’s totally light green. Some patches will take longer and that’s where your oily areas are.

I have used the Marine mud mask on my nose because I find that is where I have most of my issues. It was super easy to put on and it didn’t smell like marine life which is a plus from me! I looked a little like Squidworth or whatever his name is from Spongebob Squarepants but the benifits it has for my skin, I wont complain! It did take a little while for it to go light green, but I haven’t been doing my skincare routine due to my swollen face, so I am a little oily and full of blackheads across my nose!

The second product I was sent was some tooth whitening treatment paste.

The aim is to take a picture before brushing your teeth before using the products.

Use a dry brush (do not make the paste wet after applying it to the brush either) and brush for the reccomended two minutes. Spit out any excess (as you would normal toothpase!)

Then you should take a picture after brushing your teeth, another one a week later and then another one when you run out. This is so you can track the progress and really see the difference it has made.

Unfortunately, while I have this infection in my face, I am unable to brush my teeth with normal toothpaste, so I can’t try this product out right now, but I will 100% do so when my infection has cleared. The paste doesn’t smell bad, it smells quite fresh and almost minty. The sort of smell you have at the dentist, which obviously fits well with it being teeth whitening paste.

The final product I recieved was a scrub, it’s callled the microdermabrasion treatment in a tube.

You apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin. Patting it into the skin. After 30-60 seconds it will dry slightly and then over a sink or towel you can start rubbing it off. It will come off in bits and along with it all your dead skin cells will be removed. It’s not harsh or damaging just reveals what is called “a new face”. If it’s too tacky it won’t rub off properly but if too dry it’s a bit harder to rub off so just keep checking. You can start the momentum going in a less dry part of the face but generally the outside of your face will dry first, get all you can off then rinse thoroughly.

The best thing you can do – especially for problem skin – is the peel followed by the mask. Ellie sells these as a combo and it is absolutely fantastic for those that have regular breakouts. It clears up spots and minimises the appearance of scars. The peel also reduces appearance of wrinkles and discolouration.

I have used this on my face at night and it has made my skin look amazing. It smells so good. I don’t use products that have a weird smell, it just puts me off, even if it is a highend product, if it smells weird, it is not going in or on my body simple as.

This is why I love the product samples Ellie sent me, at first I will admit that I was a little worried about them because they arrived in a blue drawstring bag in little containers that had a little gem on the top of them with no instructions or telling me what they are. I took them out and did a sniff test first (I do this with any product I get sent because I have had a product that wasn’t quite right before and it would have potentially been harmful to my skin.

As I said, all the products smelt pretty good, so I wasn’t as worried, I contacted Ellie to let her know that they had arrived and she sent me over all the information that I needed.

The only product I can’t give a fair review on is the tooth paste, but as soon as I am well enough, I certainly will.

I have loved testing out these products and smelling them too! I am so thanful to Ellie for messaging me asking for a review. Ellie has been such an amazing person to work with, no constant messaging to rush a post (like some other brands), she has her own life as do I and she respected that. She is a wonderful business woman that’s for sure!

Ellie has an Instagram that I would love for you to follow:

Ellie also has a Facebook page:

So if you need any more information, you can message her on either one. Please be respectful, Ellie has her own life while running this business, she also has a very cute little boy to look after, so if she doesn’t reply straight away, don’t double message, just wait!

Well my lovelies, that is the end of this post. I hope you have enjoyed reading, if you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments or email me and I will reply with the best knowledge I have.
